Weekly lessons or intensive courses
Whatever your schedule and goals, we have a path to your licence. Choose the pace that fits your life.
Weekly Lessons
Learn steadily at 2–4 hours per week. Perfect if you're fitting lessons around work, college or family commitments. Build skills gradually with time to practise between sessions.

Intensive Courses

Manual Licence
Learn clutch control and gear changes. A manual licence lets you drive both manual and automatic cars — the most flexible option.
Automatic Licence
No clutch, no gears — just focus on the road. Easier to learn and increasingly popular. You can only drive automatics after passing.
EV Automatic
Some of our instructors teach in electric vehicles. Passing your test in an EV counts as an automatic licence — the same category, with no restrictions on EVs or automatics.

ADI instructors only —never a PDI trainee learning on you
Across the UK, a growing number of large driving schools fill their diaries with PDIs — potential driving instructors still working towards qualification, whose training fees are a revenue stream for the school. PASS-UK has made a deliberate decision not to do this.
A word on cheap intro offers
While you may see an enhanced introductory offer elsewhere — a first lesson for a few pounds, or a heavily discounted block — in many cases this means you will be assigned a PDI (a trainee instructor on a pink licence). A cheap intro offer is not necessarily a good idea: the instructor is still learning to teach, your progress may stall, and if they fail their qualifying exams — as roughly two in three do — they have to stop teaching and you're left mid-course looking for a new instructor. The headline price looks attractive; the real cost is your time, your confidence, and often your test date.
A good ADI rarely discounts much and usually has a waiting list of a few weeks — that's a sign of demand, not a flaw. In return you get an instructor who is reliable, teaches you correctly from the first lesson, and gets you to test standard in fewer hours overall. Pay a little more per hour, take fewer lessons, and long-term you save money — and pass sooner.
We keep our rates competitive with other qualified-ADI schools in your local area, and we discount £1 per hour on block bookings — so you get a properly qualified instructor and a fair price.
Fully qualified ADIs only
Every instructor you learn with holds a green badge — a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor who has passed all three qualifying exams and is checked on their standard.
No trainee instructors
Many national schools now teach with PDIs (trainees on a pink licence) because they earn money from training them. Only around a third of candidates pass the ADI Part 3 instructional ability test — so roughly two in three trainees never qualify, and their pupils carry that risk.
Pupil first, not profit first
We make our money teaching learners to drive, not selling instructor training courses. That keeps our only incentive simple: get you test-ready safely and efficiently.
Continuity you can rely on
A trainee who fails their exams has to stop teaching, leaving pupils mid-course. With a qualified ADI, your lessons and your progress keep moving.
